TNVW BNVD-SG Single Gain Night Vision Dual Tube Binocular Gen. 3 ITT Pinnacle (ULTRA) with Unbeatable 10 Year Warranty HS

The Binocular Night Vision Device with Gain Control (BNVD-SG) has been redesigned to be lighter while increasing performance. This dual tube night vision goggle now operates with a single gain control knob, which the user can adjust the tube brightness (gain) lower to compensate for overly bright conditions or to increase the gain under extreme dark conditions.

The BNVD-SG can be used as a monocular by choosing which side you want to use as your night vision eye and rotate the other side/arm of the binocular up and out of the way. This enhanced capability allows the user to rotate either monocular channel away from their eye while leaving the other monocular channel in place and it provides the operational flexibility to use the BNVD-SG as either a dual-eye or single-eye device. When used as a monocular, the user can operate the BNVD-SG with weapon mounted sighting equipment without sacrificing night time situational awareness. To use as a binocular, rotate both sides down or when night vision is no longer needed, shut off and rotate both sides up and out of the way. Never before could you utilize the depth perception of a collimated dual tube goggle and the convenience of a monocular in one system without switching equipment.

The NVU-BNVD-SG utilizes MIL SPEC optics and can be used with head and helmet mounting options from the AN/PVS-7B/D, AN/PVS-14, AN/PVS-7A/C, AN/PVS-15 and AN/PVS-18. Switching from one mounting system to another can be accomplished by the end user within minutes. The new BNVDG features a flip up turn off with flip down turn back on function, when used in conjunction with a helmet mount.

Power for the NVU-BNVD-SG is supplied via one AA battery for up to 30 hours of continuous use. The system is also fully submersible up to 66 feet. The TNVW-BNVD-SG also uses standard AN/PVS-7B/D and PVS-14 parts and accessories for simplified in-the-field supportability. These parts include demist shields, sacrificial windows, LIFs, lens caps, eyecups, neckcord, soft case, head or helmet mount, IR spot/flood lens, 3X magnifiers & compass assembly.

Best of all with all the added features the BNVD-SG is still substantially lighter than the AN/PVS-7 single tube goggle!
