Thanks to its PSP (Precise Screen Positioning) adapter, the Proton FXQ30 can be quickly attached to and detached from a daytime scope without requiring additional time for adjustment. This adapter also ensures the display alignment of the thermal image is centered within the scope's viewing field. Additionally, the accurate optical and firmware alignment of its optical and electrical components makes the Proton's front attachment compatible with the scope's objective lens, thereby eliminating the need for compensations or re-adjustments.
The versatile Proton FXQ30 offers 1.5–4x magnification, and the PSP-adapter makes it easy to attach it to scopes with a 40–56mm lens diameter. This gives users the ability to pair Proton with some of the most widely used scopes, such as 1.5–6x42, 2–8x42, 3–9x40, 2–12x50, and 3–12x56. Moreover, the thermal scope can also be quickly attached to the Pulsar 5х30 В monocular to be used as a powerful spotting scope.
Ease of use is a primary feature of the Proton's modern thermal objective lens, allowing both target and background to be seen clearly without the need for focusing, even as close as 15 meters away. All controls are within reach on the easy-to-manage compact device, or the optional Bluetooth remote control can be attached to the gunstock, replicating the front attachment control.
