The AGM NVG-40 3AW1 offers a large, 40° field of view with dual-channel night vision. Optics are multi-coated to maximize clarity and are housed in a sturdy composite body. Powered by a single AA alkaline or CR123A battery, the NVG-40 runs for up to 20 hours. For total darkness operations, an integral infrared illuminator delivers the necessary light. The NVG-40 is fit for a variety of mounts including AN/PVS-7D, AN/PVS-14, AN/PVS-7A/C, AN/PVS-15, AN/PVS-18, as well as mini-rail mounts.
