Works great, as described, very sensitive and it can even briefly see footprint trails on the ground. My only complaint is that the lowest magnification is 2x so you cannot really head mount this for navigation, just for scanning and video recording etc.

Youโre absolutely right about the 2x native magnification โ it makes the device excellent for scanning and recording, but not ideal for head-mounted navigation compared to true 1x optics. These binoculars have excellent clarity and can pick up heat signatures at great distances. It's easy to spot and identify animals walking through the woods before they come out into the fields.

Great optic all around, especially for the price. Two batteries included which will keep you out all night. I've got the 640 version of the Talion as well and the 384 performs very similarly. Image isn't quite as crisp but absolutely no problem identifying animals out to 200 yards, which is as far as I have shooting lanes.
