The AGM Taipan V2 Thermal Monocular series is the latest addition to AGM’s extensive lineup of thermal products, offering significant advancements over the original Taipan monoculars. The Taipan V2 series features multiple Germanium lens sizes paired with an industry-leading 384 resolution, 12-micron, sub-20mK thermal detector, delivering exceptional performance. Key improvements include replacing the non-removable internal battery with a single removable rechargeable 18650 battery, integrating a new sub-20mK thermal sensor, and adding a 90-degree tilt sensor that powers off the display to conserve battery life.

The Taipan V2 series also boasts various software enhancements and retains many popular features from the AGM thermal product range, such as F1.0 aperture optics, a 50Hz refresh rate, 16GB of built-in memory, and Wi-Fi compatibility for use with the AGM Connect App. It also includes an IP67 waterproof rating, a USB Type-C port for external power, and four color palettes. The wider rubber eyepiece ensures comfort when viewing the 1024 OLED display for extended periods.

The Taipan V2 thermal monoculars are designed for versatile use, making them ideal for hunting, farming and herd protection, law enforcement, search and rescue, boating, camping, and other outdoor activities. All models come with AGM’s 5-year transferable warranty, ensuring durability and reliability.
