What does 'DEMO' mean for the InfiRay Outdoor RICO HYBRID HYH75W 640 75mm thermal scope?

A 'DEMO' unit means the InfiRay Outdoor RICO HYBRID HYH75W 640 75mm thermal scope has been used as a demonstration model—typically by the dealer at events or for showroom display. Expect the scope to be in excellent working condition, but it may show minor cosmetic signs of previous handling. All DEMO scopes sold by Night Vision Universe are tested and include the same manufacturer’s warranty as new units, giving you full peace of mind.

Is the InfiRay HYH75W 640 75mm thermal scope compatible with my rifle and can I use it as a clip-on?

Yes! The InfiRay Outdoor RICO HYBRID HYH75W 640 75mm 4X thermal scope is designed for versatility. It’s compatible with most standard rifles and can function both as a stand-alone thermal weapon sight or as a clip-on in front of your existing day scope (up to 10X optical magnification). Ensure your rifle has Picatinny or compatible mounting options, and double-check your scope’s objective lens diameter for optimal fit.

What unique features set the InfiRay Outdoor RICO HYBRID HYH75W apart from other thermal scopes?

The HYR75W stands out with a powerful 75mm lens and a high-resolution 640x512 12μm thermal sensor, delivering superior image clarity even at longer ranges. This package includes a FREE Laser Rangefinder (LRF), which seamlessly integrates with the scope for accurate distance measurement—a major advantage for hunters and professionals. Its hybrid design enables both weapon sighting and clip-on configurations, offering unmatched flexibility in the field.

How long does the battery last on the HYH75W and what power options are included?

The InfiRay Outdoor RICO HYBRID HYH75W is built for extended use, providing up to 6 hours of continuous operation on a single rechargeable battery pack. The scope includes a USB-C port for external power, so you can use a power bank for even longer runtimes. You’ll receive the standard battery and charging accessories in the box, giving you everything you need for long hunting nights or extended tactical use.

Are there any export restrictions or warranty information I need to know for the HYH75W DEMO with Free LRF?

Yes. The InfiRay Outdoor RICO HYBRID HYH75W thermal scope (including DEMO units) is ITAR controlled, meaning it cannot be exported outside the United States without proper approval. As for warranty, Night Vision Universe provides full manufacturer warranty coverage with this DEMO model, ensuring your investment is protected. Contact us for questions regarding warranty specifics or legal export requirements before ordering.

🔥This unit is in perfect shape inside and out. Comes with all original factory accessories and the LRF module. Warranty is good through October 2030🔥

The InfiRay Outdoor RICO HYBRID seamlessly combines the functions of a thermal clip-on and a thermal weapon sight, offering unmatched versatility and performance. It features an impressive 3,600-yard detection range as a dedicated thermal sight, or it can be used with day optics up to 10× magnification as an inline clip-on. The HYBRID's low-distortion orthoscopic eyepiece, paired with a 1.03-inch large-format 2560×1920 display, ensures comfortable, clear viewing in both dedicated and clip-on modes, while maintaining high pixel density and resolution.

In addition to its dual functionality, the HYBRID introduces advanced capabilities, such as compatibility with a 1,000-yard laser rangefinder, a custom reticle generator, Bluetooth remote control, and an onboard ballistic solver.

The ILR-1000-2 Laser Rangefinder (AC82) connects to the HYBRID via USB-C, providing real-time range data. This data can be integrated with user-supplied ballistics information to apply hold-over adjustments on a custom reticle for precision targeting.

Please Note: Both the HYH50W and HYH75W models use the IBP-1 type battery (4400mAh). The IBP-1 batteryincluded with the HYH50W is the same as the one used in the RICO Mk1 and RICO Pro Series. However, the HYH75W comes with an enhanced IBP-1 battery that features an FDE ceramic-coated finish and improved ingress protection. While the HYH75W can run on the original IBP-1 battery, it will not maintain IP67 weatherproof status in that configuration. For optimal performance, always use the batteries that shipped with your product.

Best Lookie-Lou on the market! Crysral clear picture is worth it!

This Rix handheld is worth every penny. You can see animals clearly and identify them easily. Easy to operate. I love the different options for viewing but my favorite is the white hot! My wife calls it her LOOKIE-LOU. She has had more fun with this handheld than I have. It's brought us closer together, giving her & i something to enjoy doing together. We love watching all the animals move around at night and this is so light and easy to use. Its a game changer for coyote hunting. Ive got a RIX thermal scope mounted to my rifle but having this smaller handheld to quickly scan the area has been a game changer. RIX is the best brand by far and their thermal game is on point. Love how clear i can see with this and its light weight and perfect for whatever your getting into!

Hi Whitney! Thank you for such an awesome review! I have to say, I got a kick out of your wife calling it her 'Lookie-Lou'! It's great to hear how much you're both enjoying the RIX handheld, and even better that it's become something you can spend time doing together. That's the kind of feedback I really enjoy hearing. Having a lightweight handheld for scanning alongside your RIX thermal scope is a great combination, especially for coyote hunting. I'm glad the image clarity, ease of use, and features have exceeded your expectations. I truly appreciate your support of Night Vision Universe, and I hope you and your wife enjoy many more nights with the Lookie-Lou!

Perfect mount for Stride hand helds!!

Rix mount works well for the stride hand held. Ive had other mounts but this one is top of the line and has all the bells & whistles! Definitely worth it!

Hi Whitney! Thank you for sharing your experience with the RIX mount! I'm glad to hear it's working so well with your Stride handheld and that it stands out compared to other mounts you've used. It's always great when an accessory not only does its job but exceeds expectations in quality and features. I appreciate you choosing Night Vision Universe and taking the time to help other customers who may be considering this mount. Enjoy your setup!
