The ACE is built around the idea of combining leading user-requested features in a streamlined optic that balances advanced capability with ease-of-use in the field. Designed to feel like a traditional day optic, the ACE is compatible with bolt action or semi-automatic rifles using standard 30 mm mounts and rings. The combination of an internal USB-C charging battery and a removable 18650 style rechargeable battery allows users to hot-swap batteries in the field to run indefinitely. A 1-3x ocular magnifier provides optical magnification of the 2560×2560 round AMOLED display inside the eyepiece. The Vision+ system pairs this high-resolution display with a 15 mK NETD sensor for an incredibly detailed and precise image. The 1,300-yard capable laser rangefinder on the ACE is integrated directly into the 50 mm germanium objective lens. In addition to streamlining the body design and reducing bulk, this allows for improved horizontal alignment of the infrared laser with the viewing system.

New for 2025, the ACE S60R brings the best-available thermal sensor resolution (1280x1024) to the most versatile thermal weapon sight platform on the market. With a 2x native (base) magnification, a12x digital zoom and a 1-3x Optical Magnifier, the magnification range delivers fantastic image quality at all ranges.

Nocpix ACE S60R Features:

  • Lens-integrated laser rangefinder adds rangefinding capability to the optic and better laser alignment without adding bulk.
  • A 1-3x optical ocular magnifier provides additional magnification of the display without any reticle shift or digital zoom.
  • High-contrast round 2560×2560 AMOLED display provides increased clarity and detail.
  • Simplified controls offer improved ergonomics and a better user experience in the field.
  • Uses common 18650 style rechargeable batteries.
  • A ballistic calculator function displays bullet drop values based on the laser rangefinder input data and a user-customized cartridge profile.
  • Charge through the unit with a unique lock-out USB-C port design.
  • 5 Year Warranty

The Nocpix ACE LRF S60R 1280 is a beast of a thermal

The Nocpix ACE LRF S60R 1280 is an absolute hammer of a thermal optic. Image clarity is outstanding, especially at longer distances where most thermals start to fall apart. The 1280 sensor combined with true optical zoom provides real, usable detail instead of grainy digital enlargement. Target identification is clean and confident, even in poor weather and high humidity.

The built in laser rangefinder is fast and accurate, which makes a huge difference for real world use. Controls are intuitive, menu layout is logical, and the unit balances well on the rifle without feeling bulky. Battery life has been solid and repeatable, and recoil handling has been flawless with no loss of zero.

Bruce, the owner of Night Vision University, was great to work with from start to finish. Communication was excellent, responses were timely, and he worked with me to get the best deal possible. That level of service is hard to find and made the entire purchasing experience seamless.

This scope is clearly built for serious users who demand performance, not gimmicks. If you are comparing high end thermals and want top tier image quality, reliability, and customer support, this one absolutely delivers. Worth every dollar.

Mitchell, Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed and well thought out review. I am really glad to hear the Nocpix ACE LRF S60R 1280 is delivering the clarity, identification, and real world performance you were looking for, especially in challenging weather and humidity. It is great to hear the laser rangefinder, balance, controls, and battery life are all working together the way they should, and that it has held zero flawlessly under recoil. I truly appreciate the kind words about the communication and purchasing experience, and I am glad I could help make everything smooth and straightforward. Thank you for choosing Night Vision Universe and for trusting me with a high end purchase like this.

Top tier Thermal

Really impressed with this optic. The ocular zoom feature is a game changer. This is the best lrf on a unit that I have used. You can tell this scope was designed by a company that actually hunts and not just a technologies company as all the features are useful, well thought out, and simply designed for the end user. Couldn’t recommend this unit enough to anyone in the market for a 1280 optic. Image is top notch with zero lag or delay that I have noticed. Night Vision Universe was also top notch to deal with during the purchase of this optic as well!!!!

Stuart, Thank you for such a detailed review — I really appreciate you sharing your experience with this optic. The 1280 LRF systems truly are on another level, and that ocular zoom feature is something a lot of hunters fall in love with for the same reason you mentioned. It’s great to hear the design and responsiveness matched exactly what you were looking for, with no lag and all the features actually useful in the field. I’m glad your experience with Night Vision Universe matched the performance of the optic — thanks again for choosing us. Enjoy the new setup, and feel free to reach out anytime.
