The RICO 2 Extended Offset QD Mount is designed to optimize eye relief and optic positioning on bolt-action and precision rifle platforms. By extending the mounting position forward, this mount allows shooters to achieve a more natural head position and improved shooting comfort when running RICO 2 thermal optics.

Engineered specifically for the RICO 2 series, the extended mount installs using the factory hardware and maintains a low-profile, rugged interface. The integrated quick-detach system enables fast mounting and removal while maintaining secure rail engagement in the field. Precision machining ensures repeatable alignment and dependable performance under recoil.

Follow the steps below to install the mount using the existing hardware from your optic.

Installation Instructions:

Step 1: Remove Original Screws

Using a 3mm Allen wrench, remove the three factory screws from the underside of your optic.Important: Keep these screws. They will be reused when installing the extended mount.

Step 2: Position the Extended Mount

Place the extended mount onto the optic, aligning it with the mounting holes.

Step 3: Install Screws

Using the same 3mm Allen wrench, reinstall each of the three screws into the extended mount. Important: Tighten them snugly, but do not over-torque. Torque specs: Do not exceed 18 in-lbs.

Step 4: Attach to Rifle

Your RICO 2 is now ready to be mounted onto your rifle’s picatinny rail. Once positioned on the rail, hand-tighten wing nuts.
