This is an outstanding 256 resolution optic for the money. I have several other competing monoculars in 256 resolution and the RIX is by far the best. We go on family hunts thus the need for multiple monoculars. There are only two negatives. First the pictures or videos taken can not be downloaded to a MAC computer. This was verified by RIX tech support. I was able to see the videos via the RIX app. Second, we had to carry an extra battery for 3 to 4 hour hunt as the initial battery would not last the entire hunt. The good news is the RIX uses 18650 replaceable batteries which are inexpensive and easily replaced.
This is a feature rich monocular and a tremendous value. Our hunting areas typically require 50 to 100 yard shots and the RIX is perfect for this scouting range.
We found at least 3 dead hogs that ran into the thick cover that would not have been found without the RIX.
