N-Vision Optics NOX-18 Multi-Purpose Thermal Monocular/Weapon Sight 640X480, 60hz, 12 um, 18mm Lens (NOX18)
The Nox-18 is a compact, 12-micron, 60Hz thermal weapon sight that can also function as a head-mounted monocular or handheld scanner. Proudly made in the USA, it utilizes top-tier BAE thermal imaging cores and premium optical components. Available with either an 18mm or 35mm lens, the Nox offers a versatile balance between magnificationand field of view depending on the user's environment.
This adaptable device can be configured for right- or left-eye use and can even be dual-mounted with another Nox or a PVS-14 night vision monocular. To reduce size and weight, its weapon and dovetail mounts are removable, offering a more compact setup when needed.
Power Supply Options:
The Nox comes with both a CR123 battery and a rechargeable 18650 battery (with charger). Run times vary based on conditions, with up to 1.5 hours on a CR123 battery and 4 to 7+ hours on a rechargeable 18650 battery. For extended power, the Nox can also be powered by an external USB battery bank using the included USB-C cable.
User Interface:
The Nox features five ergonomic control buttons that provide quick access to essential functions such as calibration, polarity, zoom, photo capture, and power. The user-friendly menu system allows for easy zeroing and customization. A standalone calibration button enables one-handed calibration in under one second for maximum convenience.
